Discounts for people with disabilities

Are you planning a trip to the Dachstein Krippenstein? But are you unsure about accessibility and ticket discounts? Then you’ve come to the right place! On this page, you’ll find all the information you need for people with disabilities and their registered companions.

A valid disability ID card is required for all discounts. Please bring your ID card to the ticket office so we can apply the discount on the spot.

The regulations listed below apply to the Dachstein Krippenstein ski and hiking area starting with the 2026/27 winter season.

Ticket-discounts:

Children with disabilities:

Children with disabilities receive their ticket free of charge (0.00 EUR)

  • Requirement: Degree of disability of 70% or higher

  • Age limits: as per the mountain railways’ general children’s policy

  • Proof: Present your disability ID card at the ticket window

Adults with disabilities

Adults with disabilities are eligible for the reduced adult rate.

  • Requirement: Degree of disability of 70% or higher

  • Rate: Reduced adult rate as listed in the current price list

  • Proof: Disability ID card showing the degree of disability

Registered Companions of People with Disabilities

Registered companions are also eligible for the reduced adult rate.

  • Requirement: Listed as a companion on the disability ID card

  • Rate: Reduced adult rate

  • Proof: The person with a disability’s ID card, which lists the companion
