By cable car (section 1 + 2) you ride up to the mountain station Krippenstein and reach via the barrier-free lift the mountain restaurant Dachstein Krippenstein and the broad hiking trail to the World Heritage view.

The short hike to the World Heritag viewing point is easy to handle with a accompanying persons and offers a magnificent view of the natural jewel of the Salzkammergut, the mighty Dachstein.

As fresh mountain air makes you hungry and thirsty, the two mountain restaurants on the Krippenstein treat you with delicacies from the region.

5fingers

Ausgangspunkt: Bergstation Krippenstein
Bergbahn: Teilstrecke 1 + 2
Zeit: ca. 2 Stunden (hin- & retour)

Mit der Bergbahn(Teilstrecke 1 + 2) gondelt ihr auf die Bergstation Krippenstein und erreicht über einen Lift barrierefrei den breiten Wanderweg zum Welterbeblick und weiter zu den 5fingers.

Die Wanderung zu den 5fingers ist mit einer Begleitperson gut zu bewältigen und bietet eine grandiose Fernsicht auf den Hallstättersee, die Berggipfel des Salzkammergutes und natürlich den Dachstein-Gletscher.

BITTE BEACHTEN! Trotz gut ausgebautem Wegenetz müsst ihr mit steinigen und steileren Wegabschnitten bis zu den 5fingers rechnen. Bei Weg von den 5fingers zur Bergstation geht es stetig bergauf!

Parking

When arriving by car, parking for people with disabilities are available at the valley station of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car.

  • Access to this parking facility is possible via the barrier in front of the ticket counter.

  • Please press the "call button" at the barrier.

  • The ticket counter staff open the barriers for you.

Access from this parking and to the cable car is barrier-free / without stairs.
