The idyllic Nature park Schönbergalm is the starting point for the visit of the Dachstein Giant Ice Cave and Mammut Cave and offers plenty of room for letting off steam or relaxation until the cave tour starts (or afterwards).
Let yourself be spoiled in culinary delights at the Schönbergalm restaurant, while kids have alot of place to fool around at Almbodenkick (within sight).
