Accommodation in Obertraun
In the contemplative town of Obertraun you will find lots of cosy country inns and private rooms which indulge their guests with the special hospitality that is on offer in the Inner Salzkammergut area. It might even be the case that your landlords will take you skiing with them, since Obertraun is generally a very friendly place to be. Don't worry, après-ski is not in short supply here - you just have to see the legendary Haifischbar!

If you also want some winter fun away from the pistes, then you can experience the true 'evergreen' in the wintry white - tobogganing on the moderately difficult, 2km long, illuminated Trocktann toboggan run. In Gosau perfectly prepared pistes await you if you want a day which is a bit quieter in the midst of the white splendour. There is no shortage of fun with the new fun pistes, while during a stop-off for a bite to eat in one of the ski lodges, the landlord will indulge you with some tasty treats from the region. Tobogganing by torch light is a real adventure away from the piste, and there is a time measurement facility on the Rabenkogel natural toboggan run in Gosau Hinteral – and, as is right and proper, there is lots of partying at the prize ceremony afterwards.
