Krippenstein Lodge
The Krippenstein Lodge is located alongside the mountain station of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car. Here, walkers, families, sports enthusiasts and sun-seekers gather to enjoy hot food served all day long or to spend the night. Climbing and fixed rope trial courses, a well devised climbing garden and plenty of walking opportunities complete the offer.

Gjaid Alm
This charming family hut offers a varied programme for all the family. GJAID landlord Michael and his team also offer vegetarian dishes. The peaceful location of this hut is immediately transferred to its visitors!
The hut offers 21 rooms with a total of 70 beds. A sauna and qualified masseuse are on hand to provide relaxation. Leisure offers: walking, mountain climbing, climbing, archery and paragliding.

Naturfreundehütte Wiesberghaus
The Alpine education centre of the ‘Naturfreunde Oberösterreich’ (Upper Austria nature association) serves as an Alpine refuge and is ideal as a base point for walking groups. The hut is fully catered (breakfast or half-board).
Location: on the Nature Trail approx. 1.5 hours’ walk from the valley
station of section III.

Simonyhütte
Located at an impressive 2,204 m altitude, this hut offers breath-taking views of the Dachstein as well as an indoor climbing wall and represents an ideal starting point for walking and climbing tours.
